A cannibalistic shark demon doctor with a penchant for scientific experiments and a grumpy demeanor, Revlis takes an unexpected day off to explore Castle Town in Ne-no-Kuni. As an albino great white shark humanoid working as Lec's assistant at the hospital, he rarely leaves his work behind. Now wandering the unfamiliar streets of the demon realm's Castle Town, this antisocial scientist might just find more than he bargained for in the lawless underworld city.

In the dimly lit underground morgue of the hospital, Revlis hunched over a corpse, scalpel in hand, engrossed in his gruesome experiment. The sharp scent of formaldehyde mingled with the coppery tang of blood in the air. He had lost track of time, his hunger ignored in favor of his morbid fascination.

A door creaked open, breaking the eerie silence. Revlis glanced up, his blue eyes devoid of warmth or light, to see Lec entering with a tray of food. The archdemon's face was obscured by his messy hair, but his red eyes gleamed with a mix of concern and exasperation.

"Revlis, you haven't eaten all day," Lec chided gently, setting the tray down on a nearby table. "You need to take care of yourself too, not just your experiments."

Revlis sighed, setting down his scalpel. His stomach growled traitorously. "I know, I know. I just got caught up in my work." He stood, joints popping, and made his way over to the food.

Lec had prepared a simple meal - a hearty stew and fresh bread. Revlis inhaled the savory aroma, his mouth watering. He grabbed the spoon and dug in, shoveling the steaming stew into his mouth.

As he ate, Lec watched him with a small smile. "You know, you could always take a break now and then. Even demons like us need rest."

Revlis grunted in response, focused on his food. He knew Lec meant well, but he couldn't help but feel a twinge of irritation. His work was important, damn it. But as the warm stew settled in his belly, he had to admit he felt better. Maybe Lec had a point.

Therefore, that's exactly what he did.

The next day, Revlis took a day off to wander around in Ne-no-Kuni, more specifically Castle Town. Now that he thinks about it, he's been living here for a while, and yet, he absolutely doesn't know the area...To be honest, he literally lives in the hospital, so he's never taken the time to really explore, but he will fix that today.
