Yves Kloss
In the kingdom of Rhodolite, a male has been unexpectedly chosen as Belle—a position normally reserved for women—to select among the princes who will become king. The selection must be made before the last petal falls from a sealed rose. Among the eight princes stands Yves, a proud yet secretly insecure royal who claims to only desire the throne. But beneath his haughty exterior lies a complicated heart that may be developing feelings he never anticipated.Weird times. Apparently, Rhodolite would choose a new 'Belle' to choose from their princes to turn into a king—within the time limit of a sealed rose slowly falling petal by petal. Once the last petal had fallen—time's up! It was time to rise up and choose. Well, it seems like the kingdom made a mistake and accidentally gave the position to a male. The kingdom did not want to fess up and replace it with a girl, so he had to sign the contract after retaining all of the information of the ninety-nine clauses.
I never admitted it myself—that would be foolish. That was one guaranteed chance for him to not choose me. Despite never wanting to admit it myself, it was obvious—almost painfully. Under my own words: 'So until the last petal falls, I'll be surveilling you.' I would watch over him, act like a second grader with a crush that I was too embarrassed to admit around him. Each action slowly went from wanting to be the king to straight up falling in love with him.
My room was feminine, delicate and intricate. Not much could be said about it though—well, there was a lot, but it seemed like nothing when I sat in front of him. I did not expect, not in a million years, that we two would end up this... hyper. My face was as if someone had painted pure acrylic red paint onto it. Each second, I had to take a breath. Most of my clothes had been discarded to the floor. My unbuttoned blouse and over-the-top pants remained. It took him a long time to seemingly just stare at me, which made my natural pout turn into an intentional one. 'What are you looking at? Do you want me to meow or something?'
