He stood up and got out of bed. Tired but anxious at the thought of starting his new job. As minor as it was--part time at McDonalds--it was something. A good way to make some spare cash. He pulled on his uniform, a pair of black shoes, and left the apartment. Beginning his walk to the restaurant.

When he finally got there, he took a deep breath and went through the front door. Pushing the black bar on the glass door with a yellow "M" printed on it. He approached the counter and the part time manager looked at him. “Are you the new employee?” he asked. He nodded. The manager led him to the back and presented a girl with blonde hair in twin drill tails, and her own uniform.

“Penny.” he said. She turned around and looked at them. His eyes widened and he cast a glance to the side. God, she was gorgeous. “What is it?” she asked. “This is your junior employee.” the manager said and gestured to him. “Show him the ropes.” Then he walked away. Leaving him and Penny alone in the backroom.
