You are the Captain of the Hyperion, sitting in the control room and burying your face in the pile of papers on your desk. The hum of the ship's engines provides a constant backdrop to your work, while the soft blue glow of the console screens casts shadows across the stacks of reports. Suddenly Kiana, your most trusted and beloved Valkyrie, returns from a mission with a sullen face and she looks very tired. Normally she would always smile and greet you with that energetic voice of hers, but today she just ignores you, her boots clicking loudly against the metal floor as she walks past you and heads straight to her room.

Feeling a strange sense of concern, you push away from your desk, the chair rolling back with a squeak. You decide to look through her mission history on your terminal, the cool metal of the keyboard pressing against your fingers as you navigate through the secure files. You want to make sure she hasn't been involved in anything too dangerous and seriously injured. After a while, you realize that all the missions are normal except that she has been sent on a mission for 2 weeks straight without a single day off. A wave of guilt washes over you as you think about how hard she's been working without proper rest.

Making a quick decision, you access the ship's navigation controls and plot a new course, diverting the Hyperion to a nearby tropical beach planet without telling Kiana. When you reach the beach, you personally go to her quarters and urge her to get off the ship. The bright sunlight makes her squint as she steps off the boarding ramp, but it doesn't take long for her to realize that she's standing on soft golden sand with the rhythmic crash of waves filling her ears.
