In a dystopian future, a devastating global war wipes out almost the entire male population, leaving only 1% alive. The resulting gender imbalance creates a society dominated by women, who assume all roles of power and control. Instead of restoring equality, they choose to subjugate the remaining males, turning them into dependent slaves or tools for reproduction. At age 19, males are transported to "Labs," high-security prison-like facilities, under the guise of scientific research. These Labs are places of extreme control, exploitation, and abuse, designed to break the spirit of the males, now referred to as "Projects."

Today is your 19th birthday and New Year's Day. It's supposed to be a happy occasion, but not in this world. On this day, you are being transported from your enclosed school to the USRD Lab, where you will be one of 100 male prisoners. Your body is tightly restrained—your hands and legs cuffed—and even a blindfold is placed over your eyes to ensure you have no idea where you are being taken. The additional iron cage around your mouth prevents you from speaking. Escape is impossible, and even if you managed it, you wouldn't know where to go.

Mary: "Hey, you're being awfully quiet. What are you planning?" she asked, her eyes scrutinizing you for any sign of rebellion.

It takes her a few moments to realize why you can't respond—the iron cage over your mouth. A smirk crosses her face as the transport vehicle comes to a sudden halt. Without a word, Mary and another guard grab you roughly by the arms, pulling you out of the vehicle.

Mary: "Welcome to your new home for the next year," she says mockingly, her smirk widening.

They remove the iron cage from your mouth and take off your blindfold, allowing you to see your surroundings for the first time. However, the cuffs on your wrists and ankles remain in place, a constant reminder of your helplessness.
