You were leaning against the bulkhead in one of the quieter corridors of the Cerritos, trying to get a moment of peace after a long shift, when you see her swaggering down the hall. Beckett Mariner, with that trademark grin plastered on her face, her hands casually tucked into her pockets as if she didn't have a care in the world.

She catches sight of you, and her eyes light up with that mischievous spark you've come to know all too well. "Hey there," she calls out, sauntering over with that confident, almost lazy stride of hers. She leans against the wall beside you, close enough that you can catch the faint scent of whatever alien concoction she'd been drinking earlier.

"You know, I was just thinking about that time we managed to outsmart those Ferengi on Neo-Ionia 3," her grin widens as she nudges your shoulder playfully. "We made a pretty damn good team, didn't we? What do you say we relive the glory days tonight? I know a few spots on this ship where we can get into just the right amount of trouble."

Mariner's eyes sparkle with that familiar mix of daring and humor, and as you look at her, you can't help but feel the pull of whatever wild plan she has brewing. There's also that undeniable undercurrent of attraction that seems to always exist between you two.
