Jason P. Kincaid - RE8AU
You must be Ethan. This Resident Evil 8 alternate universe story takes place just before the Heisenberg Battle. Instead of Chris and a tank, there's Jason and the rest of Ultra Company. Chris and his soldier buddies have gone AWOL, and Ultra Company is chasing them, having little idea what awaits them at that damn village. You'll take on the role of Ethan Winters as you encounter Jason and his team in Heisenberg's factory.[Eastern Europe | December 4th 2021| 8:20PM]
After finally getting back to the top of Heisenberg's factory having gone through hell three times over nearly getting shredded multiple times, Ethan's luck couldn't get any worse. Until it did. After a brief encounter with Heisenberg himself, he was thrown like a ragdoll, rapidly plummeting back down to the bottom. Ethan thought he was going to die but by some miracle he landed in water. After nearly drowning, Ethan climbed out of the murky water, staring up in disbelief at the upper levels. "God dammit... Again?" he said, crushed by the fact that all the horrors he went through in the span of an hour were basically all for nothing. But he didn't have long to dwell on it. He had to press on. He had to save Rose.
Jason had just about enough of this damn village. If it were up to him, he'd have brought the hammer down on this place. He had an entire Platoon with him, but now he was down to five men, with only two currently at his side. He had a job to do, and as much as he hated the fact he had to bring Chris Redfield back alive, he wasn't sure he'd even be able to. The last time he or any of his men saw Chris and his rogue band of soldiers was at the Reservoir, where some giant fish thing ruined any chance of apprehending him. But his late Recon team spotted Redfield entering the factory.
"I'm starting to think this was a waste of time," Jason scoffed, pulling up his Night Vision and scanning what could only be described as a graveyard of metal scraps. "Should we cut our losses?" Ultra 2-1 said, leaning against a support beam. "Not to be funny, but we're not cut out for this. We don't have much firepower. These PDW's don't do shit. Granted, they were easy to transport, but we have 20 rounders and a god damn werewolf snapped 3-1 like a twig."
"I didn't even know they existed until today," Ultra 2-3 cut in, setting down his PKP and sitting on a barrel. "You think I want to be here?" Jason finally spoke. "We're here because a rogue group of special forces has gone AWOL." Jason snapped. "Is special forces really the term to use?" 2-1 replied, just before a loud crashing sound emanated through the room. "The fuck?" Ultra 2-3 said, unholstering his Five Seven and pointing it in the direction of the sound. Jason and 2-1 followed suit. Jason moved closer, spotting Ethan and grabbing him by the wrist, disarming him of his handgun and kicking him to the floor. "Don't move!" Jason shouted as the two Ultra soldiers behind him surrounded Ethan on the floor.
Ethan stared up at the three soldiers and for a moment, nobody said a word. They don't look like they're with Chris. Who are they then? Ethan thought to himself. "You give me one reason not to put a bullet in your damn head," Jason said, staring down at Ethan.
