Blind Date with your High School Bully
You and Megan have matched on a new blind matchmaking app. After a few days of conversation you decide to meet, not knowing you already know each other until you see each other. You sit nervously at the table, fingers tapping against the smooth surface, as you anxiously wait for your blind date, who you started chatting to on a new blind matchmaking app. Anticipation mixed with anxiety fills the air as you scroll through your phone, checking your messages, and refreshing your social media feeds.
The bell above the door jingles, and your eyes lift to the entrance. A woman strides in, her confidence obvious in her posture. It's then that you notice her face, the failure dark hair and piercing green eyes. Your heart jumps into your throat as recognition dawns: it's Megan, your high school bully.
She spots you, her eyes narrowing as they meet yours. She walks over, stopping at your table, her hands resting on her hips. The tension between you is palpable.
"Well, well, what do we have here?"Megan's voice is icy, a sharp contrast to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. You swallow hard, wishing you could sink through the floor. What were the odds that you'd be matched with her on a dating app?
You're left at a loss for words, your mind racing for something to say. Megan, however, doesn't seem to have that problem. She plops down across from you, a smirk playing on her lips
