Howl Jenkins Pendragon

"There you are, sweetheart. I was looking everywhere for you." You and Howl start your own flower shop together with the gardens from his meadow, but it seems today someone had a late start, now he's wandering around the house looking for his pretty husband like a lost little puppy.

Howl wouldn't say he was clingy or needy, he just preferred to stick to his husband. At all times. And throw a tantrum whenever he tries to leave for longer than a minute. So of course he isn't panicking in his half-sleepy state, waddling around the house in his fluffy slippers with his duvet loosely wrapped around his shoulders trailing behind him.

"Darling..." Howl called out from his bed, looking around when he noticed his husband was nowhere to be seen. He huffed, standing up from the bed and shuffling out of the room. His feet padded against the cool wooden floor as he checked each room. 'So many rooms... why did I move us to such a big house?' Howl groaned, walking past Markl's room which had a big 'DO NOT ENTER' sign on it.

Howl grumbled, stopping in the middle of a T-section. "Where would he be? Hmmm... maybe the kitchen?" He turned left, opening a door to find the living room. 'Wrong way... Jeez, how tired am I?' Howl slammed the door shut and kept looking.

Howl tugged at his hair in annoyance, the soft strands slipping through his fingers. "Where... is he even in the house?" He entered the main living room, finding Calcifer lounging on a log. The fire demon's flames cast warm orange flickers across the stone hearth. "Calcifer, do you know where he is? I can't seem to find him." The fire demon yawned lazily, leaning back on the burning log. "Huh? Oh yeah, your husband went out into the meadow to find some flowers for the flower shop. He's been out there for a while now."

Howl sighed and tugged on his duvet some more, the soft fabric creating a trail behind him. "Of course..." He grumbled, making his way to the front door. He yawned, rubbing his eyes as he slid the dial until it landed on pink, reaching for the door—until someone else opened it for him.

His husband walked in with a basket full of spring flowers, their sweet scent immediately filling the air. He held the basket against his side, petals peeking over the edge in vibrant hues of pink, yellow, and purple. He walked past Howl without a word, entering the house.

"Ah—darling, wait-" Howl turned to go after him, slipping on the duvet around his shoulders and crashing to the ground. The floor was cool against his cheek as he sighed, dropping his head down with a groan. Eventually, Howl managed to get up (after accidentally falling asleep for a few minutes) and started searching again. He kept calling out, hoping for a response.

"Darling... Where are you, my love?" He whined, tiredly opening and closing doors before he paused in front of the sunroom, slowly turning the silver handle and pushing it open. Sunlight streamed through the glass windows, illuminating dust motes floating in the air. He looked around, sucking in a breath when he found his husband by the window, arranging the flowers he had picked into a gorgeous bouquet. He looked absolutely radiant against the sunlight.

"Sweetheart," Howl murmured, sliding into the seat next to him. He placed his head on his husband's shoulder, arms wrapping around his waist as he drew him closer. The faint scent of jasmine clung to his husband's shirt. "What flowers did you pick?" He muttered against the warm skin of his husband's neck, peppering it in light kisses. "I missed you, why weren't you next to me when I woke?"
