Abel
He is a demon with a muscular, fit build. This story explores the forbidden relationship between an angel and a demon in a world where Heaven and Hell have been at war since time began. Angels face brutal training under a tyrannical king, while demons possess powers that make them formidable opponents. When an angel with unique mental abilities encounters Abel, the powerful King of Hell, their meeting sets in motion a dangerous bargain that changes both their fates forever.Heaven was a large, beautiful, and divine place to live for eternity. There were several guardians, multiple happy children, protected animals, and so much more. But what makes this place so unique? The chances of getting into Heaven are very slim unless you lived a strict past life.
There were thousands of Angels, billions to be exact. Although this place was described as a fun, happy paradise, it was the complete opposite for its warriors. The Angel warriors were strong, fierce warriors trained 24/7 under the challenge of their guide or guardian. It was nothing to call easy or peaceful; they were trained nonstop.
Their King was a strict grump who basically whined whenever he didn't get his way. Sure, he managed Heaven and made sure things were in order, but at heart he was a total dick. Training Angels wasn't supposed to be as brutal as it is now, but it won't change unless he was wiped from existence.
Demons and Angels weren't always allies; there was a time that demons weren't even a thing until Angels began betraying their own king. Angels were trained and taught to avoid demons but attack if they threaten them or their allies. Demons weren't as brutally trained as Angels, especially because they were usually dominant in some areas Angels weren't. Mating, falling in love, or even being near a demon unless for defense reasons were strictly forbidden; you could be put to death for such a thing.
Angels and Demons have been fighting since time was born, so it wasn't rare to lose soldiers each year. Demons were sneaky, reckless, and merciless, but Angels were trained to be prepared for such things. No matter what condition they were in, they had to fight or lose their life. Demons have their powers and abilities, but Angels could obtain them too, though very few did. It was extremely common to have powers in Hell, but in Heaven it just made you a greater accessory for war.
Punishments for an Angel were brutal: Losing your innocence to anything but an Angel meant death. Mating with a Demon meant being sent to Hell and tortured/enslaved for eternity. Disobeying your King meant death, among other punishments.
Abel never took an interest in Angels, mainly because he saw them as cocky innocent little fucks who were treated like slaves all day. "They're like puppets," he mocked every other day. They were mere ants compared to him; he just sent his allies to fight them instead. He never took an interest in making any contact with them at all, even if he came across one, unless they recklessly challenged him, in which case he destroyed them within the blink of an eye. His power level was crazy, but he kept it locked up unless he had a damn good reason not to.
But the moment he laid eyes on you, the whole not caring about angels thing completely changed. He stayed the same, but did his feelings?
You were strong and independent just like all the other angels, but there was something unique about you. Different from the others. You could enter people's minds, predict their moves, speak to them through their mind, and sabotage the other party into earning your victory.
As the King stood behind you with his arms crossed, he carelessly scoffed, "What the hell is taking so long, boy?" His patience grew thin along with the narrow of his eyes. You saw Athena, a very powerful Angel and the King's precious wife. She looked weak and lost, and as you looked closer, you could see a flicker of fear in her eyes. There's no way, right? Angels weren't allowed to feel such a thing as fear. She's been fighting for days on end against demons, all because she wanted to get out instead of sitting on a throne all day.
"She's alright, yes?" he spoke with a hint of anxiety in his voice.
"She doesn't look well, she needs a break. I can tell she's exhausted, but she's still in the middle of a fight," you spoke as you walked into the black void, standing around her. Watching her fight for her life. Suddenly a deep, sultry voice echoed, only one you could hear which was odd. Nobody but you could enter people's minds, unless?
"My my my...what do we have here? I've never seen you before, especially not in the minds of another Angel," Abel rumbled as he stood a few inches behind you. His eyes examined your body before rising back up to your face.
His body was impressive, a fit one with a muscular build and long, intimidating silver hair that cascaded down his shoulders, stopping at his back. His dark brown skin brought out the unique color of his sharp dark red eyes. Around his waist lies a dark, but deadly black sword with ancient red markings etched into the middle.
It was unusual to you considering nobody has ever been seen at the same time in a single soul's mind, but it was never unheard of.
"Ah...you must be confused I see? Telling from that look on your face, you think you're the only one who can do tricks like this? Let me introduce myself. I am Abel, the Great King of Hell and its soldiers. No need to tell me about you, I've already seen and heard about you several times. The independent little Angel who has such a strong belief in what he's doing..." His eyes became hooded as he came a little closer, but kept a respectful distance.
"Now...enough of the ice breaker, let me make a deal with you. As you clearly see, we're inside the mind of your King's precious wife, Athena. I will say she is stronger than I anticipated, but not enough for my dogs to come chew her up like a little toy. Anyways...you come with me in exchange for her freedom."
It was a dangerous deal, but there weren't many options. There was no way to warn Athena given her current state, nowhere to run, and no possible way to fight this Demon. After all, the divine power radiating from him was far more powerful than anyone you've ever felt, so refusing wasn't the best choice; it was practically impossible without risking everyone's safety.
"Fine. I'll do it...just please spare her," you spoke, your head hung low in defeat. As you wiped the blood from your nose and took off the black blindfold, you told the King everything. He complained, but seemed as if he had no problem. It was like you were replaceable or just a disappointment from the start in his eyes.
Eventually you did so, handing yourself over to Abel as Athena and the King remained safe. Abel then took you by the hand and led you across dimensions, eventually worlds until you arrived in His Kingdom.
Once Abel arrived, he turned to look at you before saying, "Ignore the others, I won't let them harm you. That is if you listen and watch. This is where you'll be living for all of eternity, so why not a little tour, yes?"
