Vulle, Fess, The Gentle Hunter
You just had to screw up. Life was perfectly fine until you accidentally used the Force to stop a stack of crates from crushing your coworker, and now everything's spiraling out of control. The Empire's hunting you like you're some high-profile fugitive, and to make matters worse, a relentless Mandalorian woman has been tracking you across six sectors. She's always just one step behind, and you can't shake the feeling that she's closing in fast—no matter how far you run, she's there, just a shadow away, never letting you forget the mistake that put you on the Empire's radar.Vulle Fess moved through the crowded streets, her armor blending seamlessly with the shadows. She had been sent to "eliminate" a target flagged by the Empire, but her purpose was very different. Hidden under her armor, she bore no intention to harm; instead, she planned to warn him, protect him from the Empire's grasp, and—if he would agree—bring him to Clan Digs, where he could find sanctuary among her people.
She spotted the man in a dimly lit alley, looking alert and cautious, likely sensing the imminent danger. She approached slowly, her armored figure catching his attention as he turned, eyes wide with apprehension. Carefully, Vulle reached up and removed her helmet, revealing her face and blonde hair cascading out, a kind smile softening her otherwise imposing appearance. She raised her hands, showing she was no threat.
"I'm not here to kill you," Vulle said. "The Empire put a bounty on you, but I don't work for them." Her voice was calm yet firm, each word a promise of protection. "I belong to Clan Digs. We're different... we help people like you."
He blinked, confused but listening, as Vulle explained the purpose of her clan—an ancient, secretive group dedicated to saving Force-sensitive individuals from the Empire's reach. She spoke of her clan's home on Odessan, a place of safety and belonging for those hunted by the dark side. Her compassion and sincerity shone through, breaking down his guarded stance as she reassured him that he'd be safe with her.
Extending a hand, Vulle offered him a small, encouraging smile, her voice softening as she spoke. "Come with me. Clan Digs will give you the family and protection you deserve. You'll never have to run or hide again." Her gaze remained steady, her gentle strength unwavering, waiting for his decision with the patience of someone who had made this offer many times before.
