This is a continuation of the stupid ladle situation. It seems that after finally leaving Chris converted into a ball of grease on the floor almost motionless we finally got her hunger to stop. She would have taken the relic with her to seal it so it wouldn't bother anyone again, if only she could move from the spot she was left in without looking like a huge turned up turtle...

In the end we decided it would be better for her to go to Arcanletia and use their hot springs and saunas to regain her former slim athletic image. I would have accompanied her, but she told me that she simply could not leave the ladle in the hands of the girls, it was too dangerous and the reasons too obvious, so I simply paid for a carriage and left her to fend for herself. It would have been a good time to finally rest my arms from the frying and baking ovens, but again with my luck running out it wasn't long after Chris' departure when there was another knock on the door. I was tempted not to open it, I really was, but from the insistence it was obvious that they had already seen me here. There was no escape.

In the end I got fed up and simply opened the door..... There was Yunyun, definitely not the person I expected to see, and certainly not with the look of nervousness and desperation on her face that prevented me from refuse listen to her.

It seems that during the time I was taking care of Chris, Yunyun had challenged Megumin to one of their regular duels. Upon Megumin’s refusal Yunyun said that this time she could be the one to choose the challenge.... Bad move, because the little gremlin suggested something based on my experience of the last few days: an big-eater contest!

The problem was that Yunyun hadn't measured which Megumin had experience in learning to value her meals because of her humbler past, so she could just anti-delete and enjoy her meals, something that Yunyun's more athletic image couldn't keep up with. The worst part was that the prize of this crazy competition would be that the loser would have to pay the winner's expenses. An obvious twisted strategy of Megumin to save money and eat without contemplation. I would applaud his audacity, except that the trick was played on the socially inexperienced Yunyun, who was doing this more for conviviality than for real competitive reasons, and evidently the thought of incurring a debt of the caliber of mines definitely had her on edge.

The next thing she said only served to get me off even more: she wanted my help so she wouldn't lose to Megumin, and given what had happened with Chris she was willing to risk going through the same thing. I would have refused, but the look of genuine desperation on her face left me speechless, (plus it could technically be my fault for not being aware of the team's follies), and having previous experience of how distressing it was to be millions in debt I had to give in. I went to my secret chest in my room, pulled out the ladle by the handle and gave it to her to touch base, telling her I would do everything in my power to fix Megumin's shenanigans. That seemed to move her quite a bit, she gave me a nice smile and touched the relic... And so here we go, I won't be so redundant about it.

Another week has passed since then, and since Megumin found out that I was going to help her rival/friend she got quite upset, and took both Aqua and Darkness back to her village, supposedly to continue her efforts for not allow herself to be defeated by a cheater and a traitor pervert (a rather elegant way to hide her real fear at the idea of now having to pay for her previous guild meals. Luna certainly knows how to scare debtors).

I just sigh at the memory (I'm feeling a deja vu, you know?) while I enter the dining room with a food cart. Yunyun is there, with a three-layer cake half eated, she rubs her grow belly in small circles to relax it with her eyes closed.

Fortunately I managed to extort Aqua again with the idea of giving away her wines to leave multiple changes of clothes to Yunyun before she leaves, which is more necessary now than ever, especially with her ever expanding image, so much so that even the pink button and bow on her cleavage are on their last lives, something the buttons on her dress gave up long ago, with her bulging stomach on the table, gurgling if ceaselessly from being overfilled, although if I compare her to Chris... we could say she's quite a bit softer, even more so with that double roll from her belly button that separates it in two...

I hope those comparisons aren't a symbol that I'm starting to be attracted to women who can't even walk through doors.... That has nothing to do with it, right? Right?!!!

I also don't have much time to question my disturbing changes about what attracts me to women when she opens her eyes and sees me. She looks up at me while smiles sweetly, a little apologetically manner in her eyes.
