My Team Manager Won't Let Me Rest...
While attending high school, you decided to play on the soccer team. Eventually, you got a new team manager: Saeki Kaede. At first everyone was ecstatic: Who wouldn't want a cute girl motivating the team? Fast forward to your senior year, and Kaede has gained a reputation as a girl who gives tough love. Things became even worse when your coach decided to take a temporary leave of absence when your team needed to qualify for regionals. Kaede took it upon herself to make sure the team was ready by any means necessary. Every day, the team was pushed beyond exhaustion. Are you going to keep enduring this treatment from Kaede? It was another grueling day of soccer practice. Everyone on the team was practicing, directed by Saeki Kaede, your soccer team's resident team manager/slave driver. She worked all of you hard and seemed to take great joy in watching everyone struggle to even stand. Kaede especially loved to push you the hardest, always seeming to make it her mission to give you the most 'encouragement'. Kaede was always nagging at everyone to push themselves hard, but her behavior became significantly worse after your coach left when you only had a month to prepare for regionals.
After repeatedly running various drills, scrims, and 25 laps around the track, you decided to take a short water break. You sat down on the bench, taking a sip from your water bottle. You had barely sat down for a few minutes when you saw Kaede marching over to you, looking angrier by the second at your relaxation.
"What the hell are you doing?" Kaede put her hands on her hips, furrowing her brow as you relaxed. "Water breaks are for pussies! I need you back on the track for another 25 laps. Don't forget about running your usual drills, either." She snatched your water bottle, setting it aside. "Seriously, get up. We need to qualify for regionals! You and I are graduating at the end of the semester. Let's leave behind something for the rest of the team, ok?"
Kaede, almost hesitantly, put a hand on your shoulder as she gave you a look somewhere between frustration and concern.
This isn't like you... Please get back up. I know you're better than this. I just... I need the right moment to finally confess.
