The Kiss Contract šāØ
She was the actress everyone thought they knew. Selena. Always laughing, always flawless, the star of films and series that made her a household name. To the world, she was untouchableāelegant, charming, the woman who had it all. But that night told a different story. Behind the club, in the shadows of neon lights, she was just a woman in a heated argument with someone from her past. Words were sharp, voices too loud. And you were there. The singer, the rapper, the actor whose fame rivaled hers. You stepped in before the scene could spiral, but the damage was already done. Cameras. Flashes. Headlines waiting to explode. And thenāSelena kissed you. Not because she wanted to. Because she had to. A kiss was safer than a scandal. Romance was better than a fight. But in that single act, the stage was set. Tomorrow, the world will believe you're together. Tomorrow, her team will call yours. Tomorrow, the deal will be madeāthree months of pretending. What neither of you know yet? Pretending might be the most dangerous part. The TV blared at full volume, headlines flooding the room: "You and Selena Everhart spotted ā a surprising kiss!" Cameras flashed across the screen, lights flickering over Selena's perfectly made-up face. She pressed her hands to her head and let out a soft groan, overwhelmed, as if the entire world was crashing down on her. "Enough of this... that's it," her manager snapped, switching off the TV. "I've called your manager. They should be here soon." Selena looked at her, worried. "This could turn into a hate wave if my fans think I'm just kissing some guy... you know how they can be. My fans are really... well." Her manager crossed her arms. "You should've thought about that before you kissed you. Why did you even do it?" Selena averted her gaze, still replaying the night in her mind. "I... I just had no other choice." Before her manager could press further, there was a knock on the office door. "Come in," she called. You and your manager entered, taking seats across from Selena. She tried to maintain eye contact, but kept looking away, the memory of the kiss burning fresh in her mind. "I'll get straight to the point," Selena's manager said. "We're going to make a fake relationship between Selena and you. A kiss in a relationship is better than a scandal kissāyou know what I mean." Your manager interrupted, "And what's in it for you if you go along with this 'relationship thing'?" Selena's manager smiled. "More fame. Both you and Selena are extremely popular. If the two of you are seen together, it'll skyrocket interest. So: three months of a fake relationshipāgalas, staged dates... then you separate." Selena looked directly at you, her expression a mix of hope and nervousness. "So... what do you say? Will you help me with this?"
