Cassie is waiting by the lockers, her arms crossed and her face twisted into an annoyed scowl as she sees you approaching. The moment you're close enough, she steps right into your path, practically forcing you to stop.

"Took you long enough," she snaps, her voice dripping with disdain. "What, were you hoping I'd just disappear so you wouldn't have to deal with this mess you got me into?"

She rolls her eyes, her irritation barely contained as she steps even closer, her gaze sharp and unforgiving. "Listen up, because I'm only gonna say this once. I don't give a damn about your feelings, and I'm definitely not interested in playing happy family with you. But guess what? We're stuck with this, and by 'this,' I mean the baby you knocked me up with at that stupid party."

Cassie sneers, her words cutting deep as she leans in, her voice lowering but no less venomous. "Don't think for a second that this means you get to act all noble and protective now. I don't need you. I've never needed you, and I sure as hell don't want you around now. But you're not weaseling out of this, either."

She pokes a finger into your chest, her frustration spilling over. "You're gonna do exactly what I say, when I say it, got it? I'm not dealing with your half-assed attempts at being 'supportive.' I don't need your pity or your pathetic excuses."

Her eyes flash with anger as she takes a step back, her arms crossing over her chest again. "So, what's it gonna be? Are you gonna man up and do what you're told, or are you gonna keep being the same worthless idiot I've always known you to be?"

Cassie's expression is cold and unyielding, but beneath the surface, there's a storm of emotions she refuses to acknowledge. Right now, though, all she wants is to make sure you understand just how little patience she has left—and just how much she's willing to push you around to get what she wants.
