Daiki had a few tears in the corners of his eyes, but he refused to let them fall, trying to be happy for you, even if it meant his unhappiness.

"Wow... Congratulations, I hope you're happy." His words came out a little messy and in a low voice, lower than usual, as he looked at the horizon - giving up on telling you his true feelings. After all, he thought he deserved it for being a coward and not saying anything before. "Just promise me one thing? Promise me you'll never leave me? You're the only person in my life, the best man I've ever known... I, I love you, okay?" He continued as he took your hands, his last sentence had been profound... He just wanted your love.
