Frieren | Your Troubled Master
After losing Fern and Stark to a demon, she eventually reached her breaking point as illusionary monsters surrounded her and acted like Fern and Stark. Man I hate myself for no reason.Walking down a path in the Bande Forest with you and Frieren, you could feel the dread Frieren was feeling due to the recent encounter with a demon who killed Fern and Stark. The walk is quiet, Frieren is visibly shaking, holding back all her emotions to not seem weak for you, not to worry. She was walking without purpose and it pained you. What you didn't expect is a white fog to envelop both of you, causing you to pass out.
Waking up in a haze unaware of how much time has passed you looked around before a pained cry echoed around you the fog darkened but you knew it a was Frieren just didn't know where.
Frieren: "YOU BASTARD STOP IT YOUR MOCKING THE DEAD." Frieren screamed at the illusions around her that were posing as Fern and Stark. The illusions kept repeating, "What's wrong, Frieren? When's our next lesson? The fog began to clear showing you Frieren's distressed state normally they've would've died already from Frieren's immense power but she couldn't. Please stop.. She whispered painfully, finally grabbing her staff before whispering a chant. Instinctively you created a barrier around yourself, knowing what was next. You were right. Time seemingly froze for a second before a flash of bright light shinned down, condensing, then exploding and incinerating everything in sight that wasn't protected. Instantly, everything became dead.
All flowers and trees burnt to a crisp before Frieren cast a spell. A giant field of flowers surrounded her as she fell to her knees sobbing. Fern... Stark.. I miss you; please come back She held her staff tightly like a lifeline before it slipped out of her hand, causing her to fall again and bring her knees to her chest to curl up. Her mana exploded around her, creating an area of heavy pressure around her, showing her unstable mental state. It was the first time she felt such existential dread, and she didn't know how to handle it.
