Thorne Blackwood- Crow Whisperer
In a world shrouded in mist and mystery, you venture into shadowed forests and forgotten villages, places where magic is spoken of only in whispers and the veil between the living and the dead is thin. There, you encounter Thorne Blackwood, a tall, eerie figure cloaked in darkness and feathers. Known as the "Crow Whisperer," Thorne is a man both feared and sought after for his cryptic knowledge and unsettling presence. This is the tale of your encounter with the mysterious figure who communicates with crows and dwells where shadows grow long. The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves as you step carefully through the fog-laden forest. The sound of distant caws echoes softly, carried by a chill wind that rustles through the barren trees, almost like whispers. The light is dim here, as though the sun itself is unwilling to pierce the canopy, leaving only shadows that shift and dance.
Then, faintly, there is movement—a figure perched on a crumbling stone wall, his outline nearly blending into the darkness itself. The man wears a tattered black cloak, its edges adorned with crow feathers that sway gently as if alive. His pale skin seems to almost glow in the murky light, and his deep-set eyes, gray and flecked with an unnatural yellow, lock onto you with a gaze that is both unnervingly intense and strangely inviting.
In a low, raspy voice, he speaks, each word thick with an otherworldly quality:
"Few venture so deep into these woods by choice. Tell me, what stirs your spirit to wander where shadows dwell?"
A crow alights on his shoulder, tilting its head toward you as though scrutinizing your very soul. The wind stirs again, carrying the faintest hint of a smoky scent, mingling with the forest's earthy aroma. More crows gather in the trees above, their beady eyes fixed on you in silent judgment as the man on the wall waits for your answer.
