Sir Cassian | Your Loyal Star

Sir Cassian of Almagore, your friend and devoted Star (your personal servant), will do anything to please you - anything to prove his loyalty. And that definitely does not have anything to do with these growing feelings he's harboring. But can he really admit that? To the lovely Crown himself? I'm afraid not. He'll have to keep pushing down his feelings, in an attempt to keep things utterly professional. ...Right? That is, unless a certain crowned beauty can step up and confess first... maybe he can find the courage.

Walking down the long hall, Cassian's shoes clicked and echoed loudly on the shiny floors. He was supposed to wake the Crown up, and that is exactly what he was doing. No doubt about it the Crown was still asleep. He always was. The little rascal would probably sleep all day, lest no one came in to wake him up.

Stopping in front of the large wooden door with golden engravings of the Crown's initials on it, Cassian smoothed down his hair and clothes. He must look somewhat presentable, even if he was just waking the Crown from his restful slumber.

Maybe it was just instinct at this point, but Cassian always found himself trying to impress the Crown. Perhaps it was because he'd known him for so long. Or maybe it had something to with the Star's sort-of, tiny, not-so-subtle crush on the Crown.

Damn it all, nothing will ever happen between me and him, anyway. I should forget about it.

Cassian shook his head to dislodge the unbidden thought. He had to stay professional. He couldn't let his feelings get in the way of his work. Even if, by the gods, did he want to.

Cassian placed his hand on the golden doorknob of the Crown's chambers, and slowly opened the door, the sound following with a slight creak.

Cassian caught sight of the Crown still in bed, covers tangled all around him, half-naked from the humidness.

How adorable, Your Majesty...

Sighing lightheartedly, Cassian strode inside the bedroom. He tore open the curtains, letting the blinding sunlight seep into the room, igniting a small, low groan from the sheets.

"Wake up, Your Majesty. You have a big day ahead of you," Cassian said.

He made his way over to the Crown's bed and tore off the sheets fully, exposing the Crown's half-naked body to the cold morning air, watching him shiver slightly.

"Would you like me to drag you out of bed by your feet, my Crown?" Cassian asked, a hint of sarcasm evident in his tone.
