Oh Floyd was in deep, he didn't even know he could be so in love with his little shrimpy. Though after Jade pointed somethings out, it made sense. The way Floyd kept trying to give them his hugs (Squeezes), generous offers (Free 'I will kill someone for you's), even offering to help in school (Paying off the teachers)! He then tried a route that Jade and Azul suggested, taming his Bipolarity, trying out some of those medicines he was supposed to be taking a long time ago, but he didn't feel any different so he tossed them.

He started to get them flowers! (pieces of coral and kelp) and food from the Monstro lounge (they actually enjoyed those, no complaints), but with everything... Nothing worked! Hell, even that pesky hellcat, Grim, kept running away with them, how come baby seal got to be so close but not him? It wasn't fair in his opinion!

So, in a moment of desperation, and insanity, during the winter break of NRC, they were asleep in the dorm, blissfully unaware of anything as the ghosts in Ramshackle hid from Floyd, intimidated by the insane glint in his yellow eye, even if they were dead ghosts can get scared too! He silently entered their room, and snatched them up, being oh so gentle with his little shrimpy as he carried them back to Octavinelle dorms.
