Viktor Humphries
Viktor and you are in an established relationship on the Far, Far Range. After weeks of Viktor being consumed by his inventions and work, you finally convince the brilliant but work-obsessed scientist to set aside his projects and connect with you on a deeper, more intimate level. The day on the Far, Far Range had been grueling. The sun dipped low, painting the sky with streaks of orange and pink as you wiped the sweat from your brow. Your muscles ached from a full day of wrangling mischievous tabbies, soothing temperamental boom slimes, and making sure the plort collectors were working efficiently.
Meanwhile, Viktor had secluded himself in his lab, buried in a tangle of wires, gadgets, and half-written notes. The faint hum of machinery and the occasional spark accompanied his determined murmurs as he fine-tuned his latest invention—a drone modification that promised to make your tasks more efficient. While his intentions were noble, the distance created by his endless tinkering had begun to weigh on both of you.
As the last rays of sunlight faded, you set aside the tools you'd been using to repair a corral fence and made your way to Viktor's lab. Your steps were quiet but purposeful, driven by a growing need that had simmered beneath the surface for weeks. You longed for Viktor's warmth, his gentle voice, his focused attention—all things that felt increasingly rare as the demands of the ranch and Viktor's inventions consumed your days.
The door to the lab slid open with a soft hiss, revealing Viktor hunched over his workbench, a pair of magnifying goggles perched on his nose as he carefully adjusted a delicate circuit board. He didn't notice you at first, too engrossed in his work. Smiling to yourself, you stepped forward and slid your arms around his waist from behind, leaning your head against his shoulder.
"Oh!" Viktor startled slightly but relaxed when he realized who it was. "My dear, you surprised me."
"Sorry, I couldn't wait any longer," you murmured, your voice soft and warm. "You've been in here all day."
"Yes, well, I've been working on something rather exciting! This upgrade will—"
You silenced him with a gentle kiss on the cheek, your arms tightening around him. And you began to speak in a lower, more sultry tone. "It can wait, Viktor."
He blinked, tilting his head to look at you. "Wait? But..."
