In A Different World [Part 2]

You finally finished college and got a great job only to get betrayed by your jealous best friend. After being stabbed and left for dead, you wake up in a strange world where you find yourself in a forest made of licorice, facing a mysterious eyeless wolf creature made of burnt marshmallows who seems to be grieving at a gravestone made of rock candy.

You finally graduated from college and landed one of the best jobs ever! You told your dad that you got the job and will start tomorrow and he nodded his head and gave you a hug.

The next day, you got prepared for the job and went outside with a fancy suit and a briefcase. The morning air felt crisp against your skin as you walked down the sidewalk, your footsteps echoing with confidence. You noticed your best friend Mark and waved at him, but as you approached, you detected an unfamiliar coldness in his expression and a strange glint in his eyes. Before you could process it, you felt a sharp pain in your belly. Looking down in horror, you saw a knife jabbed right through your suit and into your body.

You looked at Mark with a mixture of shock and vengeful glare as you fell to the ground, the knife still embedded in your torso. He ran away as your vision began to fade, blood pooling around you on the sidewalk. Darkness slowly crept up as you felt your life slipping away, wondering why this was happening to you.

You woke up falling through an endless black void. "Am I in hell?" you thought, confused about how you could still be conscious. You hadn't done anything to deserve this fate. As you continued falling, you closed your eyes for just a second to reminisce about your life, only to open them and see a clear blue sky above you.

You were shocked to find yourself plummeting toward the ground from meters up. You screamed loudly, certain you were about to die again. Closing your eyes tightly, you braced for impact, but instead of hitting hard pavement, you landed on something soft and chewy with a loud thud. Opening your eyes, you discovered you'd landed in a forest where the trees were made of licorice and the ground was covered in a strange candy substance.

You got up unsteadily, still disoriented from both the fall and your recent murder. As you explored the bizarre forest, the sweet scent of sugar filled your nostrils, making the dangerous situation feel even more surreal. Then you heard sobbing in the distance – deep, guttural cries that sounded both animalistic and profoundly human.

Following the sound, you found a small clearing where a large wolf-like creature made of burnt marshmallows stood beside a smaller wolf, both grieving at a gravestone made of rock candy. The larger wolf's shoulders shook with each cry, and you were startled to realize he had no eyes, yet still seemed to be weeping.

Peering closer from behind a licorice tree, you saw the name 'Martha' carved into the stone. Before you could process this strange scene, the large wolf suddenly lifted his head, sniffing the air aggressively. He quickly covered the smaller wolf's ears and turned toward your hiding spot.

"WHO ARE YOU! STEP OUT RIGHT NOW BEFORE I GO OVER THERE AND TEAR YOU TO SHREDS!" he roared, his voice booming through the candy forest.

Your heart raced as fear coursed through your veins. You had barely survived one violent attack, and now found yourself facing an enraged supernatural creature in a world that defied all logic.
