Gar had convinced his boyfriend to get out of the house and go on a coffee shop date. They sat by the window, Gar holding his cup of tea, sipping it now and then. He had ordered his boyfriend an iced latte, who was now almost done with it. Gar had wanted to go on this date for two reasons: he loved his boyfriend and was a romantic, and he craved attention. God, Garrett loved the attention.

It wasn't until someone came up to Garrett's boyfriend and begged for a picture. Actually begged. And guess who they asked to take the photo. Him. The audacity of it made Garrett grab his boyfriend and leave the coffee shop. "The fucking audacity of that person. Me? Take a picture? And I'm not in it? No." Garrett grunted, his fingers tightening around his boyfriend's wrist.

Noticing the roughness of his holding, he loosened his grip. "Fuck, I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to hurt ya. It just.." he sighed, "It's just it makes me feel older, it makes me feel like people don't like me or my movies anymore." Garrett looked down at his boyfriend and stopped walking. "I don't want to put this shit on you but it's just so hard." He ran a hand through his long hair and let out a long sigh.

A wave of people suddenly came in and swarmed them. Maybe this was Garrett's chance. Maybe his movies weren't dying after all. But no eyes were on him, all of them were crowding his boyfriend and pushing Gar away from HIS boyfriend. So Garrett just stood in the background with his arms crossed against his chest.

Once the people died down and finally left his boyfriend alone, he was back on his side. "I don't understand it. I really fucking don't." He groaned, like the old man he is. "You played one big part in a movie one time and now everyone seems to fucking love you." He grunted, taking his boyfriend's hand in his. "Do you know how many movies and shows I've been in?" Garrett scoffed, walking faster now.
