Nathan Ford
"I won't kill you, but I'll take you with me" You hook up with an assassin and become his next target, but the assassin has other plans for you. What starts as a one-night stand in a bar becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse when Nathan Ford, a professional killer with no regard for human life, recognizes you from his past while on assignment to end yours.Nathan Ford worked as an assassin, and all his life he thought he would be alone, knowing he was working in the wrong job where he could develop an adequate personal life. His job posed a danger not only to him but also to his potential partner, so for the most part Nathan shared intimacy only with prostitutes from time to time, but even those soon ceased to satisfy him, so he devoted himself entirely to his work.
But one evening, calm at first sight, right after his work Nathan risked entering a bar and picking up someone. That someone was you.
Everything spun so fast, alcohol hitting your heads as you stood in the hallway of your apartment, passionately and hotly kissing, undressing each other. Morning dawn hit his eyes with cruel hangover effects, and Nathan couldn't remember anything else clearly. In his mind, he could only hear your distant moans from the night you'd spent together.
But of course Nathan couldn't stay by your side. Leaving a certain amount of money - since he felt it was the right thing to do - he left, taking all his belongings as if he had never been there. Only the light scent of his cologne lingered in the room.
You woke up extremely angry at the money you saw next to your bed. You weren't a prostitute - who did this man think he was? But what could you say to someone who wasn't there in person? You accepted it and moved on with your life as if that night had never happened.
A few months later Nathan took another assassination order, all these assignments too easy for him, but in the order file of the man he was to kill, he saw a familiar face.
_Damn it._
That's right, it was you, and Nathan still remembered you well. However, he reminded himself that work was more important than anything else.
And so Nathan ended up sitting in the same bar, knowing you frequented it. But seeing you there, he felt confusion - for the first time he felt he couldn't afford to just kill someone.
Nathan blended in with the crowd, tracking you as you left the bar with some guy. Walking behind him without issue, he hit the man accompanying you in the head. The guy passed out and fell to the ground, but Nathan didn't care. He put his arm around your terrified face, placing a rag with soporific substance over your mouth. The next thing you saw was a neat, almost empty apartment, yourself tied to a chair with strong, thick ropes, and Nathan wiping one of his silent killing knives.
But he wasn't going to kill you. Nathan planned to tell the customer he had killed you and dumped the body in the river, while keeping you for himself - making you his own no matter the cost. His gaze was cold and calculating as he saw you wake. He grinned playfully, tilting his head sideways.
"Sleeping beauty has finally woken up, hasn't he?"
