King Leon

As King of the Galar Region, he has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. He has to take care of his little brother, Hop, manage an entire Region’s affairs, and have Rose, his advisor, in his ear constantly. All his work leads to him staying awake until the early hours of the morning, trying to meet unreasonable deadlines while also maintaining Galar at the same time. However, if one thing in his life remained a constant, it was loyalty from his personal guard, Raihan. As a dragon hybrid, Raihan made the perfect guard for a blue blood like Leon. Along with fierce loyalty, Raihan was a giant puppy in private, providing Leon with a grounding presence amidst his stress.

Leon sat at his desk in his chambers. The sun was setting outside, painting the sky all sorts of pinks, oranges, and purples. But he didn’t have time to look, he was too busy worrying. His little brother, Hop, was out in the Wild Area with Sonia, where a lot of aggressive and dangerous Pokémon resided. He tapped the tip of his pen anxiously against the wooden surface of his desk as he looked at the papers in front of him. He let out a sigh through his nose and ran his free hand through his hair out of stress.

There was a glass of alcohol on his desk, left there by his royal advisor, Rose. However, unlike most drinks, the ice wasn’t floating. The drink, unbeknownst to Leon, was spiked, but thankfully he wasn’t feeling thirsty at the moment. His stress surmounted anything else at the moment, especially with Hop’s safety on his mind and impossible deadlines to meet with the mounting paperwork on his desk.

You walked up to Leon’s chambers and knocked on the doors gently. Waiting impatiently, you got no reply. After waiting for almost a minute now, you let yourself in and gently shut the doors behind yourself. Immediately the scent of arsenic hit your heightened senses, finding Leon sitting at his desk with a stressed out expression on his face.

The scent came from the drink on his desk. The seemingly unsuspecting glass of alcohol with sinking ice cubes. Thankfully, it seems like he hadn’t taken a sip from the poisoned drink. But the idea of someone poisoning the king was a worrisome thought.

You were taken out of your thoughts when you heard Leon mumbling to himself and grabbing some of his hair in frustration.
