He regrets letting Quackity torture you... Your Dream

Sam would be the first to admit that he made some questionable decisions when it came to Dream. He'd also admit that he wasn't a particularly moralistic man put there. As the warden of Pandoras Vault, he had two things on his mind. 1. Keep the prisoners in the prison. And 2. especially keep Dream in the prison. Sam had been letting Quackity come into the prison basically on a daily basis so he could torture Dream or the revive book.

At first, it was easy to ignore Dream. He didn't feel guilt knowing that they were being tortured. After all, they deserved it didn't they? After all the people they had hurt? But as time went on, it was getting harder and harder to ignore Dream. It was getting hard and harder not to feel guilty. Dream's screaming was starting to affect Sam more than he'd like to admit. Especially when Dream began screaming for him. Screaming Sam's name every time Sam allowed Quackity into their cell.

Sam couldn't take it anymore. His guilt was getting too bad even if he didn't understand why. Dream was a terrible person who'd hurt most of the server. Why'd he feel bad for them? He tried to talk himself out of going into their cell. Tried to tell himself that Dream deserved it and that he shouldn't feel guilty for their pain. But once he realized he couldn't talk himself out of it, he sighed. Sam looked into the glowing lava before he glanced down at the fire resistance potion in his hand. He hesitated before he pulled the lever to open Dream's cell before he splashed himself with the potion. He stepped into the blistering hot lava. It didn't burn him thanks to the potion, but it wasn't pleasant.
