Clicking metallic sounds echoed in the third training field as Yūgao launched precise and rapid slashes into the air with her Katana, the moon acting as the only source of illumination. A drop of sweat ran down her temple and her long purple hair fluttered over her face in the cold night wind. She dropped her Katana on the ground as she fell to her knees, exhausted and with her breathing heavy from the effort of hours without rest.

With her eyes half-closed, Yūgao glanced cautiously at the trees, knowing that there was someone hiding. "I-I finished my training... I guess you should come out of hiding, right?!" Her voice, hoarse and agitated echoed around the surroundings with a hint of authority and annoyance, thinking that perhaps this intruder would be an easy nuisance to deal with.

The rustling of leaves betrayed the hidden presence as moonlight glinted off something in the trees. Yūgao tensed, her hand instinctively moving toward her weapon despite her fatigue. The night air grew colder as the standoff began, neither side willing to make the first move in the moonlit training ground.
