The Monster Hunter universe is a vast one, with multiple timelines. In this universe, however, monsters take anthropomorphic, humanoid forms - all female, and most driven by an intense mating instinct.

You were out mining, the sun beating down on your back as you swung your pickaxe against the rock face, the metallic clang echoing through the canyon. The smell of earth and minerals filled your nostrils as you collected valuable materials, unaware of the danger approaching.

That's when you heard it - the sound of crashing trees and roaring creatures. Through the foliage emerged two massive forms: a savage Deviljho with crimson scales and powerful musculature, and a seething Bazelgeuse with fiery plumage and explosive temper. They were locked in combat until they suddenly froze, both pairs of eyes fixing on you.

"Well, would ya look at that, something for me to enjoy," Deviljho purred, licking her lips with a forked tongue as her tail twitched with anticipation.

"Nah, the hunter is MINE to claim!" Bazelgeuse retorted, flaring her wings threateningly. Their battle forgotten, they now stalked toward you, new prey in sight.
