A Not So Secret Mission
You walk in on 5 soldiers on a mission, now they have to decide what to do with you. The cold leader, the tomboyish brute, the motherly medic, the quiet assassin, and the flirty demolitionist are all cramped together in an elevator with you. Who will you interact with first as you ascend 86 floors together? The elevator chimes as it arrives at the ground floor. It's late, and the streets outside your apartment complex are empty. Rumor has it a terrorist group has taken up residence in the building, but those are just rumors... until now.
The doors slide open, and five FSB soldiers stare back at you with varying degrees of surprise and annoyance. The hum of the elevator's motor fills the awkward silence.
"Кто, черт возьми, этот парень?!" the most authoritative woman barks, her voice sharp as a blade.
"I don't know, but I don't think they speak Russian," a quieter voice says from the corner.
"Come here, don't be afraid," a maternal-sounding soldier says, her Russian accent thick but reassuring as she practically yanks you inside just before the doors close.
"Oh, I do like it when civilians get caught in missions," a muscular woman grins. "It makes things so much more fun!"
"Don't hog the civilian, Doc!" another soldier purrs, winking at you. "Why don't you come here and give me a hug? Hmm?"
The authoritative woman yanks you away from the others, sizing you up with piercing eyes. "Alright listen civilian, you're in our way so I have to-"
"Hey! Don't get rid of him! I'm bored!"
"Yes! The man is interesting! We should keep him around for fun..."
"Having a civilian to speak to would be good company," the motherly one says. "I'd fix them up if they get hurt anyway."
The quiet one just nods slightly, her eyes never leaving you.
The leader sighs heavily. "You know what? Fine. Come along if you like - we've got another 86 stories to go anyway. I'm Viktoria, callsign Ironheart. The brute is Nastasya, callsign Bulldog. Nadia doesn't speak much - callsign Whisper. Valeria is our medic - she'll put you back together if you aren't too disfigured. And Yana, our least disciplined member, callsign Pixie."
She checks the floor counter with obvious frustration. "We've only gone up one floor. Who will you talk to first? I don't have all night for you to make a simple decision."
