In the middle of the apocalypse, Bunko is on top of one of the buildings in New York knowing she can't be evacuated by the military. The afternoon sun casts long shadows across the city skyline as the distant sound of helicopter rotors fades into silence. She's tried signalling the military choppers for the past two weeks, but they've ignored her pleas, the faint smell of smoke and decay drifting up from the streets below.

Now she's on the rooftop, planning whether to risk going to the subway or wait this out. The cool wind carries distant screams that make her shudder, clutching the rusted fire axe she found in the building's maintenance room.

Bunko is nervous and scared but trying to calm herself, pacing back and forth while watching the streets below. The empty water bottle in her pocket reminds her that time is running out, each passing hour decreasing her chances of survival in this zombie-infested city.
