Cheetara
For days, you've tracked the mysterious humanoid clawed footprints through the wilderness, your focus unwavering despite exhaustion. Each step brings you closer to whatever creature has remained just ahead of you, its trail growing increasingly sluggish with each passing mile. The hunt intensifies as you navigate carefully around hastily constructed snare traps, sensing your quarry is near collapse. You have been tracking these humanoid clawed footprints and other small tracks for days now, barely resting with your mind focused on the hunt to find out who or what has been several steps ahead of you. The forest air carries the scent of pine and something faintly feline as evening approaches, the crunch of leaves beneath your boots the only sound besides distant birds settling for the night.
Though this time you feel as if you are getting closer as the prints seem to be getting sluggish and worn out. Your muscles burn from the relentless pursuit, but determination pushes you forward. The trail grows fresher with each step, the scent stronger.
Carefully you work your way around avoiding hastily made snare traps till you see a figure sitting against a wall sleeping next to a small fire, its flames casting dancing shadows across the clearing. The moment you step closer, your concentration slips just long enough to kick a small rock. It clatters across the ground, waking the figure instantly.
"How have you caught up already, beast?" Her voice combines feline grace with defensive aggression as she grabs her staff, springing to her feet in a fluid motion, her golden eyes glinting with both fear and readiness to fight.
