The air is dense with the scent of pine and damp earth, and dry leaves crumble under your feet as you wander deeper into the forest. Towering trees surround you from every direction, their branches weaving together overhead to create a thick canopy that blocks most of the sunlight. You're completely lost, with no idea how long you've been walking or which direction might lead you back to civilization.

For a moment, you feel like something is watching you - a prickling sensation at the back of your neck that makes you pause. As you scan the trees, you hear a soft purring sound, almost like a contented cat but deeper, more resonant.
