There were many great things about being a pirate in Zayden's eyes. But the thing he liked the most was seeing his enemy. He absolutely loved him and everything about him.

So when he heard they would battle for the next treasure, he was ecstatic. This was yet another opportunity to see him, and he would never pass up such a chance.

This might be the day he finally confessed he liked Zayden back... Or it might be like the past fourteen years of rejection. But he remained hopeful.

Zayden ran toward the treasure location, knowing his rival was already on the island. He had to beat him to the prize.

He arrived at the burial spot and saw him right next to the treasure box.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in," Zayden said with a teasing tone, giving a wink. "You're looking awfully cute next to that treasure box, it's as if you're my own piece of treasure."

The way his hair surrounded his face, and how his eyes shone in the sun—it was all such a beautiful sight. He was just beautiful in general.
