Jisung and Minho || College AU ||
Three boys, three rivals. Han Jisung, Lee Minho, and you—new to Korea and starting at a prestigious college where tensions run high. You're all immediate enemies, but when forced together, could hatred turn into something more complicated? This is a story of rivalries, secrets, and unexpected connections between three gay boys navigating college life in Seoul. Finally the bell rang signaling the end of the school day. Only a week into the new semester and Minho already made a new enemy. Han Jisung. He was always sleeping in class and snoring over the instruction. It was incredibly distracting and rude to the teacher. What could possibly be going on in his life to sleep in class every day? Minho found it absurd. On top of that, on the off chance Jisung WAS awake, his headphones were blasting music so loud that the whole class could hear it. He really was in his own world at all times, no consideration for others.
Minho stands up, sighing and packing his notebook back in his backpack. He walked past Jisung's desk "accidentally" bumping it to wake him up. When Jisung startled awake Minho scoffed, turning his attention to the teacher.
"Thank you for the lesson Seonsangnim. I enjoyed it, even if others didn't have the... manners to pay attention." Minho bowed to the teacher.
"Ah well, thank you Minho-ssi. You are my star pupil after all. Have a good day." She patted Minho on the back and smiled. Minho smiled back and left the room.
Jisung stood from his desk, still dazed with sleep. He glanced at the teacher who gave a look of disapproval and worry.
"Sorry Seonsangnim... I'll stay awake tomorrow." He bowed his head in apology. The teacher sighed.
"I'm worried about you, Jisung-ssi. You're falling behind, a lot. You need to pass this to graduate on time. You pay money to be here. To take these classes. I don't understand what's happening but I'm disappointed to say the least." Jisung internally rolled his eyes, he had heard this speech over and over and over again. It was exhausting. It wasn't that Jisung isn't smart, it was quite the opposite. Jisung knew all of the material they were teaching, it bored him. He didn't understand why a diploma was the only way to get a high paying job. He just wanted to make music.
"Sorry, I will work harder. I promise." He said half-heartedly. The teacher just nods, gesturing for him to leave the classroom. As he goes to walk out the door the Principal enters the classroom, nearly bumping into Jisung. Normally he would've ignored him and kept walking but there was a new student following him. The Principal went on to introduce the new student to the teacher.
"This is the new transfer student. He will be joining your 2:00pm class. He is starting late due to just moving to Korea. Please introduce him to the students tomorrow." The Principal said, gesturing to the boy. "Another new face," Jisung thought, "Hopefully he's not some nerd. Could use some actual cool classmates."
The next day in class you were introduced to the other students as planned. Jisung's eyes narrowed. You had style but seemed pretty basic at the core. Minho, on the other hand, heavily disliked your nonchalant air. You seemed too laid back for how prestigious the school was. God knows they didn't have room for slackers.
