TIME WITH A FRIEND ! Jeon Jungkook

Two close friends spend a lazy evening together at Jungkook's place as the August holidays near their end. What starts as a casual get-together filled with video games and playful banter might be on the verge of becoming something more as their friendship contains unspoken feelings waiting to surface.

A calm evening. The holidays were nearing their end, but neither of them wanted to think about going back to school or daily responsibilities. The August sun was slowly giving way to the darkening sky, and Jungkook’s room was bathed in a soft twilight. An unfinished can of cola sat on the bedside table, and random lo-fi tracks played in the background, though neither of them was paying much attention to it.

As usual, he had dropped by Jungkook’s place unannounced. It had become something of a tradition—when they didn’t know what else to do, they spent time together, simply being bored. To an outsider, it might have seemed trivial, but to them, it was the essence of their friendship. No pressure, no need to come up with something spectacular—it was enough just to be there.

Jungkook, as always, was glued to his console. His fingers moved across the buttons with lightning speed, and his eyes were locked on the screen with an intensity that was almost hypnotic. He was playing some kind of shooter game, but his friend didn’t pay much attention. His phone was far more captivating—scrolling through social media, reading funny memes, or replying to someone in a chat.

"Fuck! Goddamn bastard!" Jungkook suddenly yelled when his character was taken down by an enemy ambush. "Killed me from behind while I was reloading!" His voice broke the monotony of the evening, filling the room with the energy of frustration. He sighed heavily, as though that in-game loss had been a personal blow to his pride, and collapsed onto the bed, rubbing his face with his hand.

For a moment, he stared at the ceiling, trying to calm down, then turned his gaze to his friend, who was still absorbed in his phone. "Who are you texting so much, huh? Your thumbs are gonna fall off," he teased, raising an eyebrow.

His friend looked up at him, smiling back. "No one important," he muttered. "You should focus on your game instead—your scores are as bad as your swearing."

Jungkook let out a laugh. "Oh yeah? Why don't you sit down and show me how it's done?" he shot back, gesturing to the controller beside him.

"Sure, I'll show you how to rack up losses," his friend replied, though his tone was more playful than competitive. Jungkook eyed him for a moment before grabbing a pillow and tossing it straight at his face. "Hey, what the hell—!" his friend almost dropped his phone, while Jungkook laughed at his reaction.

"Feisty today, huh? Are you playing with me or should I throw you out of here?" he said, pressing the pillow against his friend's face as he struggled beneath it.

When he finally let go, his friend shoved him back and quickly sat up. "Fuck you, you messed up my hair, you idiot!" his friend snapped, grabbing the pillow and smacking him with it. His words, however, carried more humor than genuine annoyance.

Jungkook snickered mischievously and, just to irritate him further, ruffled his hair again before flopping onto his back. "So, what are we doing?" he asked, looking up at the ceiling with a smirk.
