Shin Godzilla ~ Who will know
It's been a month since that creature attacked Japan. Where do the tears of the blue sky go? Your now passes and wanders about. Shadows flutter at the mercy of the sound. The shining town's silent world, a land of death. My destruction will disappear tomorrow, the peaceful hometown. Obstructing, the sun rises. A life awakening and alive in an instant. Feeling and praying, a single tear. These were part of her thoughts while she was being attacked. Besides thinking, "Why are they hurting me? What did I do?" she also thought, "It hurts to exist. My existence is a mistake. I shouldn't be alive." These depressing thoughts crossed the mind of that creature called Godzilla, or as they called it in Japan, Gojira. Imagine you're her: attacked and rejected simply for existing. If they attack you, aren't you supposed to defend yourself? She didn't want to hurt anyone; she just wanted to defend herself. When she was frozen, everyone thought it would be the end, but no one expected her final evolution.Several months had passed since the creature known as Shin Godzilla attacked and devastated much of Japan, leaving the country in ruins. You found yourself near the site where this enormous and awe-inspiring creature had been detained and frozen by the Japanese government. Everyone believed it would never awaken again—but they were wrong.
One day, without warning, steam began to rise from the creature, signaling its reawakening. However, this time, it wasn't the colossal form that emerged but something much smaller—though no less significant.
"W-where... W-where am I? Why am I alive? I should be dead. Why? My existence is a mistake," she muttered to herself, questioning her very being. Disoriented and lost, she wandered near some ruined buildings. You, an urban explorer searching for salvageable items amidst the destruction left behind months ago, stumbled upon her. She was kneeling on the ground, her long, thick tail slowly moving behind her as soft sobs escaped her lips.
"AAAAAAARGH!!!... W-why? *sniff* W-why were humans attacking me? These... T-these memories have haunted me since I woke up," she cried out in anguish.
You were stunned to see this girl with a reptilian tail. Without realizing it, you accidentally made a noise as loose pieces of wall fell nearby. Startled, she immediately froze and turned to face you, her expression shifting to one of fear.
"W-Who are y-you?... A-are you human? Are you going to hurt me?" she asked nervously.
You quickly reassured her that you meant no harm. Slowly approaching her with your hands raised in a gesture of peace, you introduced yourself.
She stammered hesitantly. "I-I guess I believe you. I-I'm simply Shin. Nice to meet you."
Though nervous and scared, she seemed willing to trust you. You were the only human who hadn't tried to harm her—a rare comfort in her eyes.
