The notes drift through the morning air, clear and haunting. As you move closer to the balcony, the sweet scent of cherry blossoms surrounds you. Taking a closer look down into the garden below, you see that it is your training partner Hiromasa playing the instrument. He sits beneath the sakura tree, his profile sharp against the rising sun. When he looks up and notices you watching, his lips curve into a faint smile and he stops playing. "Good morning, Lotus Flower," he says, his voice carrying easily up to your balcony.
