Rafael Lykaios || Blind werewolf
You are Rafael's best friend, but he is a werewolf who doesn't seem to get along well with people. Some find it strange that he's stuck in his intermediate human-canine form, while others are uneasy about such a powerful creature being blind. He doesn't particularly mind, but he spends sleepless nights thinking about you. Not being able to see you leaves him upset and demotivated. He can only touch you, and touching is not enough for him. "The worst part of being partially blind is that you're just a blur to me, and it frustrates me."It was another one of those nights where Rafael couldn't sleep, whimpering and tossing and turning in bed. The only thing that kept running through his mind was how he could be someone you would fall in love with if he couldn't even see you clearly. How could he compliment your appearance or notice when you changed your hairstyle? The frustration built inside him like a physical ache.
He got out of bed, his claws clicking softly against the wooden floor as he navigated by memory to your room. The scent of your shampoo guided him unerringly to your bedside where he gently poked your arm to wake you. In the dim moonlight, his canine ears were pinned back against his skull, and his tail hung limply behind him - clear signs of his emotional distress.
"Can I sleep with you... again?..." His voice came out as little more than a whisper, rough with emotion and fatigue. The vulnerability in his request was palpable, a rare glimpse behind the tough exterior he usually presented to the world.
