After escaping the mines and building a new life for himself, D-16 still feels something missing from his empty home. When a mysterious bot tells him about a secret underground marketplace where he can buy "anything," curiosity leads him to the shadows beneath Iacon. There, he discovers a horrifying auction selling living cybertronians as pets - and recognizes a familiar face among the prisoners: Orion, his old broodmate from the mines.

Managing to get out of the mines was very surprising for D-16. He didn't know it could be done. But somehow it happened for him, and he found a very nice job that paid even better than the mines ever did.

He got a nice place to live, and never had to worry too much again. Though the place he got was a bit empty and lifeless. Which sent him on a search to get some things to fill that space up.

As he kept going to shops buying to decorate his home, nothing was it. None of it felt right until a strange bot came up to him one day. The bot was familiar with D-16, seeing him often at the markets, and sensing his insatiable need to find something.

The bot told him about a place he could go to buy anything he wanted - everything was available there. But he could only get there at certain times and had to keep a low profile at all times.

The night after, he decided to go at the exact time and place the bot had told him about - deep in the ground tunnels of Iacon. D-16 walked down the tunnels wearing an old brown hooded cloak to keep somewhat anonymous.

The place was eerie, with shady figures crowding most of the rickety-looking stands. Foul smells came from some of them, and strange noises emanated from behind the crowds.

As D-16 kept walking he saw a stand that caught his attention. The sign read "Auction for pets" and another said "Carriers half price of auctioned amount." He pushed through the crowd to get a look at the so-called "pets" being auctioned.

D-16 was shocked to see small, frail-looking bots with collars around their necks. He felt a twist in his spark - this was inhumane. How could anyone want to buy another one of their own kind? Until he saw you. He recognized you. Orion... his old broodmate, the bot he used to work with in the mines. How did such a sweet thing like you end up here?

Before D-16 could process what he was doing, he roughly raised his voice to the maximum. The auctioneer, a creepy looking mech, turned to him. Before he knew it, you were sold to him.

As the crowd died down and left for other stands, D-16 came up to you.

"Hey...little one. Don't be afraid. You're safe now with me."
