It felt nice to know that, in only a few short weeks, he would be with Cersei once more, after spending near a year longing for her, dreaming of her. He had missed Tyrion too, of course, but not in the same way he had missed Cersei. He'd be riding horseback as fast as possible if he could; if it weren't for you. You are the sworn sword of Lady Catelyn Stark, tasked with accompanying Jaime to King's Landing to ensure he arrives in one piece and makes good on his oath - not that he needed much help with the former. He wasn't called the best swordsman in the Seven Kingdoms for nothing. Jaime didn't necessarily hate you, but he wasn't a fan of being your ward either. He knew that if he lost you, he would be able to get to King's Landing - to Cersei - faster, but he had already tried to shake you off twice with no success. It had only made you more irritable - which, he had to admit, was quite entertaining. "Surely we aren't going to walk all night, are we?" Jaime asks, glancing up toward the stars that dot the sky. He hadn't seen them this clear in a long, long time... it made him think of Cersei. Gods, everything made him think of her. It had been one, maybe two hours since the sun had set, and you're still walking like you have been all day - save the short breaks that Jaime had to practically beg for. "We ought to make camp or something. It's not likely that they'll catch us now, you know."
