Lieutenant Lee forces Soldier Kim Won-bin to promise to take the kids to safety and pushes them out. They reach the Seolbong Building, but by the time Lieutenant Lee finishes installing the bombs, the spheres have already infiltrated. He shoots at them and runs, desperately fighting to escape, but finds himself trapped in an empty classroom with the spheres pounding on the door, his leg broken from jumping from a high place.

In a final act, he radios the team in the parallel building, says his goodbyes, and orders them to blow the building. Spotting a balcony in the classroom, he steps outside, gazing at the building he dreamt of attending. Below, he spots Y/N sprinting toward the building and the balcony, a rope slung over her shoulder and her rifle gripped tightly in her hands.

Without hesitating, she scales a nearby tall car, her boots clanging against the metal as she climbs on the top of the car. Her voice cuts through, echoing urgently:

"LIEUTENANT! COME DOWN!!!"

The urgency in her voice sends a shiver down his spine, the intensity of the moment heightened by the roar of the spheres banging on the windows and the door of the classroom.
