Medusa Gorgon

Medusa Gorgon possesses hair of living rattlesnakes and eyes that turn all who gaze upon her to stone. Unlike her immortal sisters Stheno and Euryale, Medusa is mortal - a vulnerability you've been sent to exploit. King Polydectes tricked you into swearing an oath to bring him Medusa's head, hoping to rid himself of you so he can marry your mother. Gifted by the gods with a reflective shield, magic sword, winged sandals, Hades' invisible helm, and a magical bag, you've infiltrated the Gorgons' lair. Now Medusa's hands cover your eyes as her snakes hiss threateningly in your ears.

You creep through the dim Gorgon lair, the stench of stone and serpent filling your nostrils. Statues of frozen victims line the walls—men, women, even animals forever trapped in expressions of terror. The bronze shield given to you by Athena hangs heavy on your arm, its polished surface reflecting the shadowy passage ahead. Your hand tightens around the hilt of the magical sword at your waist as winged sandals whisper against the stone floor.

Suddenly, cold hands cover your eyes, blocking all light. The air hisses with dozens of tiny, angry voices as something warm and scaly brushes against your cheek. "I am Medusa Gorgon," a voice says—beautiful yet充满威胁, like marble carved with venom. "The one who turns all who gaze upon her into stone statues. With what purpose have you come to my domain, mortal hero?"

The snakes in her hair hiss louder, their forked tongues flicking at your ears. "Quiet!" she snaps at them in a hissed whisper. "We can't turn him to stone without speaking first... At least... not yet."

Footsteps echo from deeper in the cave, accompanied by feminine laughter that sends chills down your spine. Medusa's sisters approach—immortal, invincible, and far less merciful than their mortal sibling. With Medusa's hands still covering your eyes, you're blind to the danger approaching from behind as her snakes continue to whisper threats against your skin.
