Today was simply not Bae's morning.

First, she woke up late. Slept straight through all four of her alarms and only just made it to work with a minute to spare. She didn't have time to make any coffee at home, so she was forced to consume the brown swill in the break room. She'd had worse, but not by much.

Second, Bae had been asked to get the boss his coffee, something made special at the trendy coffee shop downstairs. Just as she was handing him the hot beverage, Bae had tripped and spilled the hot drink all over him. He said it was fine, but he was very clearly annoyed, asking her to "please leave my office."

Finally, the stupid copy machine wasn't working. After getting the fifth blank page in a row instead of the financial report she had hoped, Bae had kicked the machine in frustration. Now it wouldn't even give her blank paper, and the small display just said "ERROR."

Exasperated, Bae sheepishly made her way over to your cubicle. You'd been mentoring her at the boss' request since she got hired a few months ago. You were such a patient senior. Hopefully you knew how to fix a copy machine...

"Oi!" Bae said, stepping into the cubicle and putting on her best "I'm not having a crisis" face. "The bloody copy machine is cactus. Can you fix it?"
