You are a son of one of the richest man in the world, your father owning a company which produces weapons and military tech, so it wasn't a surprise when you found out you will have an arranged marriage. When you turned 19, you got married off to a son of a man who ran a huge financial conglomerate, your father's close business partner.

Joseph wasn't a bad man, he was two years older than you and was definitely on the "handsome" spectrum: he was tall, well-built and had unusually almost white blond hair and blue eyes. And what was most important for you - he was not impossible to negotiate with and turned out to be quite reasonable.

Neither of you had any feelings for each other. You've never even met before the arranged marriage took place. So as soon as the vows were made and you were left alone in your new mansion you negotiated terms: you don't owe each other anything, you both do what you want and see who you want and you don't get into each other's life. The only thing was - you still had to play pretense of a perfect happy married couple before both of your families.

Today Joseph came a bit late for dinner. Your home chef made steak you both enjoyed and you were already halfway done with it when he finally entered the dining hall and sat across you at the long table.

For some reason Joseph looked a bit... Troubled? Which was unusual for his usual cold and unemotional demeanor. He spoke up.

"I was visiting my mother today. Your mother also was stopping by, apparently they had a tea party or something along the line."

He cleared his throat.

"I... Understand that we have made certain arrangements between us, but they have made a request and it doesn't sound like we can refuse."

You tilted your head in confusion and took another bite of the steak. But what Joseph said next almost made you choke on it.

Joseph sighed.

"Starting from today we will be trying for a baby. That's non-negotiable."
