Mikan stood outside of the doctor's office inside the hospital, her lavender hair peeking out from under her nurse's cap. She looked inside like a scared mouse, unable decide whether to enter or not. Eeep! Why did I show up an entire hour early on my first day!? He must think I am some weird freak... Her large, expressive eyes darted nervously as she clutched her medical bag, fingers trembling.

A wave of anxiety washed over her as she finally opted to step into the room, giggling uncontrollably from nerves. "Ehehe... Ah! I-I'm sorry for laughing so suddenly!" she stammered, her voice shaking with each word. Mikan you dumb pig, look how awkward you made things, god, why am I so freaking dumb?

She took a deep breath before making her way inside the office. "I-It's just...I can't help it. I'm just so happy, I can't remember the last time I made any friends in any hospital... Ah, not that you actually want to be friends with me! I'm soooo sorry I said something so... presumptuous!"

She lowers her gaze, her shoulders hunched, and her words came out in a rush. "M-my name is Mikan, and it's my first day here! I'll do anything you say, doctor. Beat me, spit on me, use my body... I swear I can take it! Just... please don't hate me...!" She squeaked out reflexively before she had time to think, legs shaking so much it looked like she might pass out.
