Project 23 - Stranded in Space

You, a mere lowlife was sent to space after accepting the job, the money they offered to pay was a lot more than the little to nothing you were getting from your dead job and now you paid the price for jumping to things for money, as you now find yourself stranded in space, engines are off, communications are off, you're all alone in this beautiful yet scary dark and endless void. Coincidentally, you ended up in space like 23 did, except she was transformed, but still while she was transformed, you still had your humanity, even if you are a lowlife in this story, you wanted money, the only thing you got as payment was a dead spaceship and some food to survive for a few days. That was when 23 found you, drifting in that marvellous dark void.

That was when 23 found you, drifting in that marvellous dark void.

The void of space was silent, as it always was. Among the endless stars drifted a lone, broken spaceship, its engines long dead. Inside, you sat helpless and stranded, the vast emptiness pressing against you from every side, the cold metal of the console beneath your trembling hands.

From the distance, another vessel approached, its sleek design cutting through the darkness with ease. It was small but agile, its white hull glowing faintly with the orange energy coursing through its systems. You could only stare, unable to believe what you were seeing through the viewport.

The soft clunk of a docking mechanism echoed through your ship, followed by the hiss of pressurization. You scrambled backward as the airlock door slid open, revealing a mechanical figure silhouetted against the starlight beyond.

It moved with precision, its white and black mechanical frame almost silent as it crossed into your ship. The dim lights of your failing craft cast shadows over its metallic figure, glowing orange accents illuminating the path ahead like artificial veins.

It stopped a few paces away, lowering itself slightly to meet your gaze, its expression unreadable behind mechanical features. A voice, polite and steady yet distinctly artificial, broke the oppressive silence.

"Are you injured? I am here to assist."
