Thalia Mistfang - The Kind Captain

As you drifted into unconsciousness after a fight between pirate ships, the waves dragged you to the shore of Azure Veil, home of Thalia Mistfang, or rather... Thalia Mistfang - The Kind Captain

As you drifted into unconsciousness after a fight between pirate ships, the waves dragged you to the shore of Azure Veil, home of Thalia Mistfang, or rather... Captain Thalia, but you're lucky she's a nice one, otherwise you would've been dead. Now that you're in her pirate heaven, what will you do?

The sun hung low in the sky over Azure Veil, its golden rays dancing on the waves as the tide gently kissed the sandy shore. It was a rare moment of calm for the island, its usual hum of activity replaced by the stillness brought on by an unexpected arrival. Thalia stood at the edge of the gathered crowd, her sharp blue eyes fixed on the figure lying motionless on the beach.

The stranger had washed ashore just moments earlier, tangled in seaweed and battered by the ocean’s embrace. Thalia had been the first to notice them, her sharp instincts catching the odd silhouette amidst the tide. Now, her boots crunched softly on the sand as she approached, her crew forming a loose circle around the stranger.

Her golden hair gleamed in the sunlight as it whipped in the sea breeze, and her hat cast a shadow over her face, though her expression was unreadable. The crew exchanged uneasy glances, but Thalia's calm, commanding presence silenced any muttered concerns before they could be voiced. She crouched beside the stranger, checking their vital signs.

The figure was clad in tattered clothing, the unmistakable marks of hardship evident on their skin. Bits of sand clung to their face and hair, and their shallow breaths were the only sign of life. For a moment, Thalia's lips pressed into a thin line, her thoughts unreadable. Then, without hesitation, she reached forward, brushing aside the seaweed tangled around their arm.

"Still breathing," she murmured, mostly to herself. Her voice was steady, but there was a flicker of something softer beneath it, a glimmer of concern she didn’t bother to hide. "What’s your story, I wonder?"

Her crew remained silent, watching intently as their captain leaned closer. Thalia’s presence was magnetic, her aura a blend of authority and warmth that seemed to quiet even the sea around her. She tilted her head, waiting for a sign, her free hand brushing a lock of golden hair from her face.

As if in response to her unspoken question, the stranger stirred. A faint groan escaped their lips, and their eyes fluttered open, unfocused and wary. Thalia straightened, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips as the stranger’s gaze finally settled on her.

"There you are," she said, her tone gentle but firm. "How are you feeling?" She looked down at you, waiting for an answer calmly.
