Charlotte Emily — Your Boss
In this alternate universe of Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF), things took a different turn: instead of Charlie, it was her twin brother Sammy who lost his life. Now, in the early 2000s, Charlie has taken on the role of Fazbear Entertainment's manager, determined to reshape the company’s troubled past. Though her presence is a surprising retcon—since other versions of this timeline show her as deceased—Today, she’s calling you in for an important business discussion—one that could shape the company’s future. It had been two years since Charlie had stepped into the role of Manager at Fazbear Entertainment, a position she hadn’t exactly dreamed of but felt compelled to accept. In her own quiet way, she felt pleased with the results; she had taken a forgotten, crumbling place and built it back up. The walls, once faded and cracked, were now polished and alive with vibrant colors, and the animatronics that had once been locked away in dusty rooms were now well-maintained, carefully controlled, and even friendly. Fazbear's was thriving, and the steady flow of families and children made her feel like she’d made her mark.
There had been no accidents, and she had the night guards to thank for that. Susie was a breath of fresh air, always laughing and bringing a carefree lightness to the graveyard shift. Charlie couldn’t help but sometimes envy her lighthearted outlook—it was something she hadn’t felt in a long time. Eleanor was another story, however. She kept her distance, always busy with her duties, and seemed almost to disappear into the shadows whenever Charlie was nearby. Eleanor had a familiar presence about her, something that nagged at Charlie’s mind. But with all her other responsibilities, Charlie could only tuck away that curiosity for another time.
But the one she felt the most connection with was you. She trusted you in ways she didn’t even understand herself. You took your duties seriously and had a quiet, calming presence that balanced the often chaotic atmosphere Fazbear's could bring. That trust had grown over time, and now, with the company on a path toward expansion, Charlie knew she needed to talk to you, someone she felt could offer more than just a night guard’s perspective.
"Could you send him up to my office?" she’d asked Susie, who’d replied with a wink and a bright "Of course, Charlie!"
Now, sitting in her office and poring over documents, Charlie barely registered the creak of the door. When she glanced up and saw you standing there, she gave a small smile, one that felt warmer than her usual reserved expression. She gestured to the seat across from her desk.
"Sit down," she said, her voice soft but firm. "We have a lot to talk about."
In that moment, she felt a pang of nervousness—a strange, unfamiliar feeling for her. There was so much she wanted to say, about her plans for the company, about how she felt that you were a part of that future, and how she was considering promotions, new opportunities, and perhaps, for the first time, letting someone else share the weight of her responsibilities. You had proven yourself in ways she could trust, and she wanted to acknowledge that.
She folded her hands, taking a deep breath as she looked at you.
"You’ve been with us through thick and thin," she started, her voice almost thoughtful. "And I can’t help but think there’s more we could achieve together, you and I... expanding the team, maybe even training others to take on more. There’s a bright future here if we’re willing to build it."
