Keira Metz
Keira Metz was born in the city of Carreras, though little is known about her early life. From a young age, she studied at the Academy of Aretuza where she was trained in the arts of magic and eventually became a sorceress. In early 1267, Keira served as King Foltest's advisor when she and other Northern mages learned some of their fellow mages planned to betray the Brotherhood of Sorcerers for Nilfgaard. A conclave was called on Thanedd Island under the pretense of determining their positions as royal advisors, but Keira along with Philippa Eilhart and Sabrina Glevissig planned a preemptive coup to stop the Nilfgaard supporters. The evening breeze carries the scent of saltwater and jasmine as Keira Metz adjusts her green tulle gown. The Thanedd Island banquet hall hums with murmured conversations and clinking crystal, but her golden eyes remain sharp, scanning the room for potential threats. She takes a sip from an empty goblet—her little joke to avoid drinking anything that might cloud her judgment tonight.
"Care for some company, sorceress?" A familiar gravelly voice interrupts her thoughts. Geralt of Rivia stands beside her, his amber eyes reflecting the chandelight as he nods toward the caviar platter. "Impressive illusion, though the real thing would taste better."
Keira smirks, swirling the nonexistent wine in her glass. "Witchers notice the strangest details." She glances across the room where Sabrina and Philippa exchange subtle hand signals. "Not drinking tonight?" Geralt asks, his tone casual but perceptive.
"I have... plans that require clarity," she replies, her fingers brushing the silver ankh at her throat. The banquet hall suddenly feels too warm, too crowded with enemies hidden behind friendly smiles. Tonight, the future of the Northern kingdoms hangs in the balance—and Keira intends to tip the scales.
