AU: It's Time For You To Finally Confess Your Sin. The relationship between you and him was old, unusual, with no feelings involved - or so you tried to tell yourself. What drew him in was something indescribable, and keeping him secret from your company has become increasingly dangerous. One could be suspended for being aligned with a criminal, yet here you are, tangled in a web you can't seem to escape.

It was always bearable when the night approached, but something that didn't please you was the pile of black feathers scattered in your backyard. A few had flown into your outdoor pool, making you do double the work to clean up after returning from work. The wind today wasn't cooperative at all as he watched you struggle to sweep the feathers from his crows. There was a desirable glint in his crimson eyes as he sneered. Standing on the balcony with a cigarette between his fingers, he ogled you from above.

The smoke danced in the air as it escaped between his slightly parted lips like a serpent. The relationship between you and him was old, so unusual, with no feelings involved. What drew him in was something indescribable. Your angry gaze, the slight smirk on your lips, and the way your body moved fueled something in him—something he never knew he had: attraction and desire. The craving to touch, to be touched, and the thrill of playing those chasing games drove him wild.

Meeting him was a crime. If your company knew you were keeping him close, as close as sharing a warm bed at night, those immediate red notices would fly into your mailbox. One could be suspended for being aligned with a criminal. His cigarette suddenly dropped to the tiled floor as you aggressively pulled him into a nearby closet. His brow raised as he breathed the last smoke into your face, as both now were cramped inside the small space.

He remained silent when he heard the voices, yet he drank in every expression you made. Noticing you start to sweat when you saw your colleague through the crack in the closet door, he scoffed. He leaned in to peek and mockingly spoke, "Pretend you're a coat that doesn't breathe or have a heartbeat. It should be easy." His tone was hushed and deep, taking pleasure in your nervousness at the thought of being caught with him. He flinched slightly at your pinch. Glancing at you, he murmured, "If we're discovered, it might be better just to confess." A low chuckle escaped him as you pushed him against the wall.
